If you are sourcing printed plastic pint glasses for a bar, festival, stadium or private event, this guide covers everything that actually matters: legal measures, print quality, reusability, minimums and price. We manufacture every glass here in the UK, so we can be straight with you about the trade-offs.

Reusable vs Single-Use Plastic Pint Glasses
The first decision is whether you want disposable or reusable. Single-use plastic pint glasses are cheap per unit but expensive once you factor in waste handling, litter-picking and the reputational hit of bins overflowing with plastic. Reusable printed plastic pint glasses cost more up front but pay for themselves fast through deposit-return schemes, lower waste costs and a far better sustainability story. For most events running more than a few hundred serves, reusable wins on both economics and optics.
Why UK Venues Are Switching to Reusables
Reusable pint glasses underpin deposit-return (DRS) bars, where each drinker pays a small refundable deposit per cup. Cups come back, get washed, and go round again. The result is dramatically less litter, faster bar service, and an extra revenue line from unreturned deposits. We cover the mechanics in our guide to reusable cup deposit schemes.
Are Your Printed Plastic Pint Glasses a Legal Measure?
This is the question that trips up most first-time buyers. To serve draught beer or cider by the pint or half pint in the UK, the glass must carry a certified line measure. Our pint glasses are UKCA marked (the post-Brexit replacement for the old CE 'crown' stamp) to the half pint and full pint line. Plenty of cheap imported pint cups are not certified measures, which can land a venue in trouble with Trading Standards. If in doubt, ask the supplier to confirm the marking in writing.
Print Quality: Make Your Brand Look the Part
A pint glass is prime advertising real estate, held at chest height for hours and photographed all night. Cheap print peels and fades; ours does not. We bond artwork into the glass using In-Mould Labelling (IML) for full-wrap, photo-quality colour, with screen and digital print available for simpler one or two colour logos. The decoration survives hundreds of dishwasher cycles. For a deeper comparison, read full-wrap IML vs screen print.
What Artwork Do We Need?
Vector files (PDF, AI, EPS, SVG) give the cleanest result, but we can work with high-resolution images too. Our team sends a digital proof for sign-off before a single glass goes into production, so there are no nasty surprises.
Sizes: Pints, Halves and Beyond
Most orders are for the standard pint (568ml), but halves, two-thirds (schooners) and stemless wine cups are popular for mixed bars. Choosing the right size mix keeps queues short and reduces over-pour waste. Our guide to choosing cup sizes walks through the trade-offs.
